Cajun Trail Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Be Natural Whole Grain Bites
  • 1 cup of Be Natural Coco-Nutty Granola
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp pepitas
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tbsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp coconut oil
  • ½ tbsp honey or rice malt syrup
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

1. Pre-heat oven to 300⁰F. Spread coconut in shallow baking pan and bake uncovered for 2-3 minutes or until toasted.
2. Melt the coconut oil and combine with curry powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic powder, honey or rice malt syrup, soy sauce and salt.
3. In a large bowl toss together coconut and remaining ingredients
4. Spread mixture evenly on a baking sheet. Bake, uncovered for 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and enjoy
